Pajama dressing has become an unlikely but enduring high fashion trend with several years now under its belt and little sign of slowing down. Amongst the multitude of fashion trends that encourage style and comfort. Sneakers, pajamas and jumpsuits are pretty much top the list. Not only are they a perfect way to incorporate prints into your ensemble, they also add an instant cool factor not easily attained.
I'm not saying you have to wear a pajama set outside your house to look on-trend this Winter. The key is dress the rest of your look up a little, so you don't look like you sloppily forgot to change your shirt when you woke up in the morning. Here are a few tips if you would like to try the trend this Winter.
TIP 1: CHOOSE THE RIGHT FABRICS. Not just any old robe or pajamas make the cut. Forget cozy flannels and terry cloth—satiny fabrics take it to a sophisticated level. If you like cotton, try jumpsuits.
TIP 2: MIX UP THE PIECES. Break up the look by pairing one fluid piece with something more structured, like a statement handbag, especially for day.
TIP 3: KEEP ONE ELEMENT REFINED. One element of your outfit should be refined, whether it’s a high heel, a bold necklace, a standout nail polish, or a perfectly done nude lip.
