Tropical Style - Floral Maxi Dress and Hawaii Hibiscus

Aloha everyone!

I wish that I'm really in Hawaii right now as the season started to change here.  Days are getting shorter and nights are getting chillier.  Summer is so short here in Vancouver, soon the leaves are going change the colour and autumn's going to be here.  Every winter around Christmas time, we always take a vacation to Hawaii in order to escape the cold and rain for a couple of weeks.  And then we come back to the reality (rain and cold and flu seasons).  For the rest of the year, all we talk about is how great Hawaii is and how we should move to here.

I love Hawaii!  I think nothing looks more romantic than a floral maxi dress and Hawaii hibiscus.  This outfit is one of my favorites.  You can see how I paired the colour from light to dark from top to bottom.  These shoes are in darker floral compare to the dress.  And my hair accessory is in a lighter floral pinkish colour in comparison to the handbag.  All accent colours are associated with the dress.  A lighter make up is great for this fresh and romantic look.

Prom - Bustier Dress and Statement Necklace

This outfit is perfect for a prom day or night!  The bustier top makes a slimmer look and bottom is so flattering!  This look is combining cute and elegant.  I love how the statement necklace just brights the whole look, the colour goes so well with the dress.  I used beige accessories as my belt, shoes and bag.  Because I was taking photo during the day, and this look is good for a day time party.  If you are going out at night, red accessories will bring all the attentions to you.  This outfit is good for attending a outdoor wedding party, going on a date night, a prom night or a graduation party.

Black Playsuits and Gold Accents

Playsuits are very popular this summer.  They are very comfy and convenient, that's why they also called jumpsuits.  Because when you have it on, you can jump around!  I love to wear playsuits when I am going to the pool or beach.  They allow me to sit anywhere I want and can be worn as a cover up too!  This outfit is great for going to a BBQ, pool, beach, even boating!

Denim on Denim

Pairing denim on denim is one of my favorite pairings.  Accessorizing and statement necklace are the must when it comes to denim on denim.  Otherwise it can be plain and boring.  After looking at these photos I feel that I should have sun-tanned more before put on these short shorts, shouldn't I?  Oh well, at least I got these super high platform heels, so that help a lot!  This is my back-to-school look.  Who am I kidding? I'm never going to school.  The whole outfit costed me only $54 USD, what a bargain!  This outfit is definitely great for walking in the park, bike riding, going to a movie or picnic!

Bright Colours, Theory Jacket and Tibi Dress

Here we go, once again, leather jacket and printed dress.  As aways, this pairing will never go wrong.  It was a chilly summer evening after the rain, it's still bright out around 7:00PM.  I was going on a boat to see fireworks, this jacket will definitely keep me warm on the water.  Maybe my heels are not totally appropriate for boating, but I just love how they match my dress perfectly!  I would rather suffer my feet in order to complete this look!  This outfit can be for day time or a bright summer evening, it's great for dinning out, brunch, date nights, even shopping!
